Sort, transport, deliver

Not many people get to visit a mail sorting center. Postis is our very own center. Here you can come and work and decide how the job should be done.

Put on your vest and safety shoes and get started. Packages must be scanned. Is it big or small? Heavy or light? Spotted or striped?

Customers come to the delivery point and pick up their parcels. Has the correct package arrived?

It is not only packages that are sorted at the center, but also letters. The letters must then be forwarded and distributed. Where do you find mailbox number 4?

It’s tiring being a postie (= sw. postis). From time to time it can be nice to sit down in Postis’ break room and take it easy. When you have finished working for the day, you can go over to our studio and create your own postcard or do some crafting.

If you want to visit Postis during Fridays, weekends and school-holidays, you need to book a tickets with a time slot. You pay at the museum.

This happens in Postis.

Sort

Spotted, checkered, striped. How do you want to sort the packages? You decide.

Transport

Our high-speed carts carry the letters and packages to wherever you want.

Deliver

Customers come here to pick up their parcels. Maybe also a donut?

Take a break

A postie also needs to rest and drink coffee with colleagues in the break room.

Go home

When you’re finished at work, maybe you head home. Several people share your home with you. Perhaps someone has received some mail?

Craft and create

In the studio next to Postis, you can do some crafts and writing. There is also a quiet room with a comfortable sofa.
